William Fannin Sr. began building homes in Columbus in 1958. Both he and his son, William Fannin Jr. share the key to their success – a personal commitment to quality in every home they build. This commitment is reflected in the continued success of William Fannin Builders.

Our company is dedicated to the growth of our industry as well. William Fannin Sr. and Jr. have both served as President of the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio. William Fannin Sr. also served as the 1973 President of the Ohio Home Builders Association and William Fannin Jr. held that same position in 2005. They are the only father son Past Presidents of the BIA of central Ohio and one of a couple at the state level, the Ohio Home Builders.

Currently, William Fannin Sr. serves as chairman of the BIA’s Registered Builders Program, and has done so since its inception in the early 1990’s.

William Fannin Builders have won numerous home building industry awards including Central Ohio Builder of the year in 1989 and in 2003. They are the only builder in the BIA of central Ohio to be a recipient of this award twice. They have also built a showcase home 18 times in the Building Industry Association’s Parade of Homes. In October 2005 William Fannin Sr. was inducted into the BIA Builder Hall of Fame; this is one of the highest honors for a builder to achieve.
